Middletown Library is pleased to partner with the RI DEM/ Division of Fish and Wildlife and provide Fishing Poles for you to borrow with your OSL Library Card. We have both Fresh Water and Salt Water Rods and Reels available for checkout. Tackle boxes are also available.
Middletown Public Library Fishing Pole Lending Program:
- Poles may be borrowed on a valid OSL Library card for 21 days
- No Reservations
- No Renewals
- Overdue Fine = .10 a day for each date overdue
- Must be picked up at and returned back to MID Library
- Patrons may borrow up to three (3) poles on one valid Library Card
Borrowers are responsible for acquiring their own Fishing License which may be obtained through the RI DEM
