Why art?

Encouraging children’s creativity is an important part of their development. Creativity helps children to develop problem solving and critical thinking skills, as well as build their confidence. It can be as simple as drawing pictures or as elaborate as designing a project. There are many activities that can help foster children’s creativity, such as playing music, making crafts, reading stories, and playing pretend. Parents  can also help to nurture creativity by providing materials, space, and time for imaginative exploration. With the right resources and guidance, children can discover the power of their own creativity!
