AARP Personal Tax Preparation Assistance at MPL

AARP TAX ASSISTANCE BEGINS IN FEBRUARY AT MIDDLETOWN PUBLIC LIBRARY

Volunteers from the AARP will be at Middletown Library 3 days a week to prepare and file your 2025 Personal Income taxes.

  • Mondays from 12:00pm - 4:00pm
  • Wednesdays from 12:00pm - 4:00pm
  • Saturdays from 12:30pm - 4:30pm

Assistance will be available beginning on Monday, February 2nd and ending on Saturday, April 11th. There will no assistance available on Monday, February 16th due to the Library being closed for holiday.

This is a drop-in service this year, there will be no appointments offered. Patrons are asked to stop by the Library ahead of your visit to pickup a packet located on the table in the lobby of the Library entrance beginning the last week of January. The packet will include a listing of all the documents required for your visit. Please complete as much of the packet as you can prior to your visit for preparation.
