Adopt-A-Pet Reading Program
Starting June 28th, visit the Children’s Department to “Adopt-A-Pet” as part of our “Tails and Tales” Summer Reading theme. Except for the only thing you have to do for this pet to care for it is to promise to read to it every day! Plush animal “pets” will be available for adoption in the Children’s Department (while supplies last; limited to 1 per child per family), and come with a name tag and adoption certificate. So adopt a pet, check out a book, and start reading to your new furry friend to take care of it!
